A re-certification cost of 20% applies to returns of ballistic and bulletproof products.

The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.

The Ops-Core AMP Headset is Outstanding!

Fortunately, before I bought them, I could try a pair that a friend of mine owns. We were at an indoor range, and I tried them without the earbuds. They were good but not $1300 better. He was adamant that they were highly well-made and worked well, so I decided to take the plunge and buy them, intending that if they weren't very good, I would return them. I put them on at the range and had my cap on when I got them. I was very disappointed because they were not working any better than my
$100 pair. At that point, I was ready to box them up and send them back; when I came out, I was asked if I used the double hearing protection with the earbuds. I said no, so I decided to go ahead and try them with the earbuds to see if it made any difference. (I found a lack of a seal between the cap and the ear cushions that caused the malfunction.) I was blown away when they were on correctly, and using the double hearing protection earbuds, they are phenomenal, not just blocking the sound of the guns going off near me but also allowing me to have the hearing you need for situational awareness. I can listen to every conversation around me that's going on, with double hearing protection, from many yards away.
People come up to speak to me, and because I have hearing protection on, they talk louder than usual to ensure I listen to them. I have to tell them to quiet down because I can listen to them ideally in a normal voice with the double hearing protection on. While at the indoor range, I don't have to worry about putting them on and taking them off to hear people in the commons area and then having to put them back on when I return to the range firing line.
When I'm at the outdoor range, I can leave them on and not worry about it when the line is cold. I can still hear conversations 15 to 20 yards away. When the line goes hot again, my ears are protected where I am. They are just phenomenal.
