What does "Integrated MantisX" mean?
It means the TOR-X has a smart training system built right inside it. This system, called MantisX, connects to a free app on your phone. It watches your movements as you shoot and gives you real-time feedback to help improve your accuracy. It’s like having a shooting coach with you at the range or at home.
Will the Steiner TOR-X fit on my handgun?
The TOR-X is designed to fit on most pistols that have a Picatinny or Weaver-style rail in front of the trigger guard. It has an adjustable mount so you can get the best fit for your specific firearm.
What kind of battery does it use?
The TOR-X uses one 1/3N battery. When the battery gets low, a red light on the bottom of the unit will flash slowly. To save power, the laser also turns off by itself after 5 minutes if you forget to.
Is the TOR-X durable and can I use it in the rain?
Yes, it’s very durable. The body is made from strong, hard-anodized aluminum to handle tough use. It is also water-resistant, so it is safe to use in wet conditions.
How do I aim the laser?
The TOR-X has two adjustment screws that let you aim the laser beam. One moves the beam up and down (elevation), and the other moves it left and right (windage). This lets you line up the laser dot perfectly with where your shots are hitting. You can also change the laser's brightness to a low, medium, or high setting.

- The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
- There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
- Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.
