What does the RPM Diving Board do?
The Ruffs Precision Manufacturing Diving Board is a special top cap for your scope mount. It lets you add other accessories to your rifle, like a rail-mounted laser rangefinder or a secondary red dot sight, right on top of your main scope.
Will this fit the RPM scope mount I already have?
Yes. This rail cap is made to fit all existing RPM scope mounts. This includes all CLR series rings and all Bravo and Delta cantilever mounts.
Should I choose the High or the Low height?
That depends on what you want to mount.
- For mounting a laser rangefinder, you must choose the High rail.
- For mounting a red dot, check your scope. If it has a tall knob on top (a high turret), choose the High rail so the red dot can see over it. If it has a short turret, the Low rail is the right choice.
Is the RPM Diving Board strong?
Yes, it is very strong. It is built in the USA from a tough material called 6061-T6 aluminum. It also has a special hard coating to protect it, called a Type III hard anodize.
Does it come with the screws I need to install it?
No, this part does not come with screws. It is designed to be a simple cap replacement, so you will use the exact screws that are already holding the top cap on your current RPM mount.

- A re-certification cost of 20% applies to returns of ballistic and bulletproof products.
- The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
- There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
- Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.
