- Superior Materials and Design: Each ring is built from a solid block of high-strength, American-made 7075-T6 aluminum, offering superior durability and recoil resistance without adding unnecessary weight.
- Held to Exacting Tolerances: We machine our rings to a tolerance of 0.0005 inches, ensuring a perfect, secure fit. Highlighting these specifications shows their superiority when compared directly against common alternatives.
- Four-Screw Cap Security: The design uses four heavy-duty TORX screws per ring to provide balanced, secure clamping pressure on the scope, locking it firmly in place without crushing the tube.
- Type III Hard-Coat Anodized Finish: A durable, non-reflective matte black finish protects the rings from scratches, corrosion, and harsh weather, keeping your gear in top condition while helping you stay concealed.

Ruff Precision Rings provide a rock-solid link between your rifle and your scope, delivering the confidence you need in critical situations. RPM Scope Rings with Level FAQs
Where are Ruff Precision Rings made?
Ruff Precision Rings are proudly designed, machined, and finished in the USA. We believe in supporting American manufacturing, as it ensures the highest level of quality control and material sourcing for gear used in critical situations.
Eliminate Canted Shots with an Integrated Level
For long-range shooters, keeping your rifle perfectly level is critical for accuracy. Even a slight, unnoticeable tilt—or "cant"—can cause your shots to miss at a distance. To solve this problem, we offer an upgraded version of our Ruff Precision Rings with a bubble level built directly into the top of the rear ring. This gives you an instant, easy-to-read visual reference to ensure your rifle is perfectly upright before every shot, removing a key variable and helping you achieve maximum precision.
Key Benefits:
- Improve Long-Range Accuracy: By eliminating rifle cant, you ensure true vertical and horizontal crosshair alignment, which is essential for making accurate shots at extended ranges.
- Instant Visual Feedback: The integrated level provides a clear, at-a-glance check without needing to break your shooting position.
- Rugged, Low-Profile Design: The level is housed securely within the ring itself, so there are no clumsy, external parts to snag or break.
What makes these rings better than cheaper options?
The difference is in the materials and the precision. Unlike standard rings which often use basic aluminum, we use high-strength, American-made 7075-T6 aluminum. More importantly, we machine them to extremely tight tolerance specifications. This creates a perfect, non-slip grip on your scope tube that prevents any shift in zero, even under heavy recoil. We sell a complete solution for reliability, not just a set of rings.
How do I choose the right ring height for my rifle setup?
The goal is to mount your scope as low as possible without the objective lens (the front bell) touching the barrel. As a general guide:
- Low Rings: For scopes with an objective lens up to 44mm.
- Medium Rings: For scopes with a 44mm to 50mm objective lens.
- High Rings: For scopes with a 50mm or larger objective lens. Always ensure you have a small gap (the thickness of a nickel is a good guide) between the lens and the barrel.
Will these rings fit my specific scope?
Our rings are available in the most common scope tube diameters: 30mm, 34mm, and 35mm. To ensure a perfect fit, you must match the ring diameter to the main tube diameter of your specific scope model. This specification is usually found on the manufacturer's website or in your scope's user manual.

Ballistic and Bulletproof Products:
- Most companies will not accept any returns on ballistic or bulletproof items. We offer recertification as a courtesy.
- Must be within 30 days of package delivery.
- No need to purchase a shipping label! Atomic Defense will give you a pre-paid one.
- A re-certification cost of 20% applies to returns of ballistic and bulletproof products.
- The 20% recertification covers the cost of ensuring the armor is safe. Usually starting with X-Raying the armor for cracks underneath the coating, inspection for damage, and water damage testing. Without this 20%, we would not be able to offer returns on armor.
- There is no way for us to know how or if it was used once shipped, and we have to consider them unsafe until retested, inspected and certified.
- Exchanges and non-ballistic products do not have a re-certification cost.
