You can program the default secondary color to match your needs. While the light is off, hold the power button for eight seconds. This enters a mode where you can choose red, green, or blue as your main light color.

What batteries does the Ghost X headlamp take?

The light runs on a single battery, and you have three choices. You can power it with a CR123 lithium battery, an AA alkaline battery, or an AA lithium battery.

Does this light work with night vision goggles? 

The Ghost Mode switch is built specifically for night vision use. Flipping this switch blocks all white and colored light. It only allows the 940 nm infrared beam to activate, which stays invisible to the naked eye.

How long does the battery last in infrared mode? 

A fresh CR123 battery provides up to 2.5 hours of power on the highest IR setting. If you drop down to the low IR setting, the battery can last up to 87 hours.

How do I lock the light so it stays off in my bag? 

You have two ways to lock the power button to prevent accidental battery drain. Press and hold the button for three seconds to turn on a digital lock. You can also tilt the main light housing all the way up, which physically covers the button so you can't press it.
