What is the difference between the FAST 4X Mag and the FAST FTC 4X?

 This is a common confusion. The FAST 4X Mag is the actual glass optic (the magnifier) that zooms in. The FAST FTC is the mount that holds it to your rifle. You need both for the system to work. The magnifier usually does not come with the mount included in the box.

Why would I need a 4x magnifier and how far can I shoot?

 A red dot sight is great for close targets, but it can be hard to see things far away. This magnifier makes targets look four times closer. This helps you identify threats and hit targets clearly out to 300 yards or more.

Do I have to re-zero my red dot every time I use the magnifier? 

No. Your red dot sight keeps its zero. The magnifier simply looks through the red dot. It does not change where your bullet hits. You can flip the magnifier up or down without worrying about your accuracy.

What do the knobs on the magnifier do if I don't need to zero it?

 Those knobs are for centering the view. Sometimes, when you put a magnifier behind a red dot, the dot looks like it is off to the side. You use the top and side knobs to move the image until the dot is perfectly in the middle of the glass. This does not change your point of impact.

Does this magnifier come with a mount?
