Good bit of kit

Bought through Atomic Defense as the official Mantis website would not ship to the United Kingdom.

For any UK buyers: Atomic Defense had the package at my doorstep in just under 3 weeks, with no issues at customs. You will pay extra due to the shipping tax however this is expected, and in my case, worth it. The Mantis Titan X is probably the best option we have in the UK to practice our pistol shooting that is able to be conducted at home / in a safe environment. Along with this, I would recommend buying some Mantis X targetry (sold on the site separately.) I would also recommend channeling your inner influencer, and buy a tripod to hold your phone (Sold elsewhere). This will allow a quick set up when paired with the MantisX phone app.

The kit itself:
Good build quality. All sturdy plastic, with some slight rattling in the weighted magazines that I stopped noticing soon after training. The unloaded weight is lighter than a G19, however when loaded, I can't really feel the difference without a side by side comparison with the real thing.

Ergonomically it feels good, and fits inside all holsters I have tried so far. Re-holstering can sometimes feel "sticky", although the draw feels fine.

My only issue is that the fore and rear sights are "blank". This may be intentional to allow the user to customise them however they like, and is an easy fix

The training does help improve live fire. More importantly (for us Brits) it helps build and retain that muscle memory for snap shooting and safe weapon handling.

Overall, strong recommend.

Best hearing protection I’ve used

I had previously been using peltor comtac v’s and they are great as well but the ops core with the nfmi plugs makes such a difference. The sound quality is much better and they feel like they stay on your ears better. The buttons on the comtac are much better though. Atomic was great I will buy from them again.
